About the Language School:

​Our language school at QComm Education is dedicated to helping learners build practical language skills in an engaging and supportive environment. We believe language learning should feel approachable, relevant, and connected to real life. Our courses are designed for motivated learners, including adults and teenagers, and focus on meaningful communication, cultural understanding, and confidence-building from day one. Through flexible, self-paced learning and thoughtfully designed activities, we create an environment where learners can explore new languages, connect with global cultures, and rediscover the joy of learning. Please note that we are not an accredited language school, but you can still add our course to your resume/CV or LinkedIn!

Course Policies

Apply & Enroll:

​The QComm Language School uses an application process to create a focused, respectful, and motivated learning community. The application helps ensure that learners understand the self-paced nature of the course and are prepared to engage meaningfully with the content. Admission is non-competitive. Applicants are not selected based on prior language ability, academic background, or credentials. The purpose of the application is to ensure alignment, readiness, and commitment—not to exclude qualified learners. ​Submitting an application does not guarantee admission. Applications are reviewed to ensure the course is an appropriate fit for the learner’s goals, learning style, and availability.
Admissions Requirements:
This course is designed for motivated learners who are prepared to engage in independent, self-paced online learning.
  1. Applicants should demonstrate a genuine interest in learning Swedish for personal, academic, cultural, or professional reasons, along with a commitment to completing weekly modules and participating actively in course activities.
  2. No prior knowledge of  the language is required.
  3. The course is open to learners ages 13 and older. Teen applicants (ages 13–17) should be able to demonstrate the maturity, independence, and time-management skills necessary for success in a self-directed online environment.
  4. Applicants must have strong reading comprehension in English and the ability to follow written instructions and complete short written reflections.
  5. Iearners must have reliable internet access, regular access to Canvas, and a device capable of recording audio or video for speaking practice activities.

Admitted learners agree to:
  • Engage respectfully in discussions
  • Complete required activities independently
  • Participate in speaking practice to the best of their ability
  • Use AI tools responsibly as learning support, not as replacements for engagement
Apply:
All applicants must complete a short application that includes:
  • A brief statement of interest (2–4 sentences)
  • Intended goals for learning the language
  • Confirmation of time availability (2–3 hours per week recommended)
This application helps ensure the course is a good fit and supports learner success.

Application Steps:
  1. Submit Your Application: Complete the online application by clicking the Apply Now button below. The application includes a brief statement of interest and confirmation of your readiness for self-paced online learning.
  2. Application Review: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants can expect an admissions decision to be sent via email within 1–2 weeks of submission.
  3. Admission & Enrollment: If admitted, you will receive an email with instructions to submit the course fee (see program fee above) and complete enrollment in the course.
  4. Course Access: Once payment is received, you will be enrolled in the course and granted access to Canvas prior to the course start date.
