Undergraduate or Graduate Research Stipend- Required Documents
Initial required documents at the time of application:
At the time of applying, the applicant will need to submit the following documents with the application:
- A Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume. This document may be in English or a Scandinavian language.
- A copy of your most recent transcript or grade history report. This document may be in English or a Scandinavian language.
- A detailed description of the research/research topic you are conducting or will be conducting, including the financial implications of the research.
- The name and contact information of the professor or program director that can provide the most information about your research project details. You will include this person's information on the application form; be prepared to include the person's first and last name, place of work, phone number, and e-mail address. The references section on your CV or resume does not fulfill this requirement.
- As part of the application, be prepared to submit a letter of interest of which expresses your uniqueness as an applicant. This essay will be written in a Scandinavian language only.
Additional required documents if you are selected to receive a stipend from SSF:
If you are selected as a stipend recipient, please be prepared to turn-in these documents before you are eligible to receive your stipend; do not attempt to turn in the documents below unless told to do so by SSF:
- Proof of Enrollment- A screenshot/copy of your admissions letter, current class schedule, or a verification of enrollment (VOE) from the university/college/program in which you are enrolled in. Please note that if you provide only an admissions letter, you will not be able receive your stipend until you provide either your class schedule or a VOE.
- Proof of Residency- a valid and government-issued form of identification is required to prove age and that you are a resident of the United States or a Scandinavian country. A PDF or JPEG copy of a driver's license or ID card is required. This document may be in English or a Scandinavian language.
